This is our stunning, exceptionally low-mileage Elddis Evolution CV40, powered by the Fiat Ducato and equipped with the desirable automatic gearbox, this is a well-equipped and versatile campervan that offers something a little different from a standard CV40.
The original rear lounge sofas have been carefully removed and replaced with a permanent double bed, transforming the rear of the CV40 into a fixed-bed layout. One of the biggest advantages of this configuration is the vast amount of storage beneath the bed, creating a garage-style storage area for outdoor furniture, bikes, BBQs, luggage and other touring equipment. The bed lifts up from the rear to provide easy access.
Importantly, the conversion is completely reversible. The bed has been installed using the existing factory screw holes, so no unnecessary holes have been drilled into the van. The original sofa frames and cushions have been carefully removed, protectively wrapped and stored unused – as shown in the photographs – and will be supplied with the vehicle. The next owner therefore has the choice of enjoying the fixed-bed configuration or returning the campervan to its original factory rear-lounge layout.
